SWJO was formed for organization of the Jazz Section of KAGAWA ARTISTIC FESTIVAL in 1990. We've been playing the Big Band Jazz like The Count Basie Orchestra,and also combo style jazz,small band jazz,and so on. Since 1997 we've started to perform orchestral jazz including the sounds of Flutes,French horns, snd Tubas.
The annual concert of KAGAWA ARTISTIC FESTIVAL is principal for us,besides,we've had several oppourtunities to perform before an audience every year.From the end of the year 1995 to the begginning of the year 1996,we've been in New York and had live concerts at the restaurant in Harlem and famous "SWEET BASIL". That appeared in "JAZZ LIFE"magazine.
It invites as professional's lecturer group.
